• Argo AERGO is an open-source hybrid blockchain platform for businesses. Argo provides the infrastructure to host decentralized applications (DApps). The Argo token (AERGO) is a utility token used on the Argo platform and is required when using certain services provided by the Argo platform.

Characteristics

1. Argo Chain is a blockchain operating system and a public protocol consisting of a global public decentralized network. In addition, Argo SQL is the smart contract of Argo Chain, which is used to store and access scripted languages, including database SQL.
2. Argo Platform's private blockchain runs as a Proof of Authority (PoA) consensus algorithm, while the public blockchain network Argo Mainnet runs as a Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) Deferred Proof of Stake (DPoS) algorithm.

 

Vision
