Golem GLM

• Collem GLM is a project that runs Ethereum-based Dapps (DApps) designed for decentralized open-source networks. Golem networks connect and share distributed computing resources as Peer to Peer (P2P), allowing software developers to receive computing resources at low cost. Golem Tokens (GLMs) are used as costs or rewards for using and renting computing resources on Golem networks.

Characteristics

1. Golem enables members' democratic access to computing resources, allowing anyone to trade computing resources and develop apps over the Golem network.
2. Golem aims to break away from the Ethereum network and create a self-sustaining Golem ecosystem for its members through its own mainnet. Users enrich the Golem network by developing apps in various fields, including machine learning, password recovery, and turn-based strategy games, on top of the Golem network.

 

Vision

• Golem is continuously releasing beta mainnets to create open source interaction and proxy free environments, creating networks that are more familiar with the development environment. Golem is currently using the ZkSync open chain through an Ethereum-based layer-2 structure, and in the future, it is expected that the introduction of polygon can be expected to reduce transaction fees continuously. If the mainnet is completed, the activity of the Golem network is expected to be even higher.
