Characteristics

1. Ripple uses its own Ripple protocol consensus algorithm, the elliptic curve digital signature algorithm (ECDSA). When a transaction occurs, or after a period of time, all nodes reach an agreement on the XRP ledger (the XRP record in the user's account).
2. It has a much faster transaction processing speed than Bitcoin or Ethereum, so it can process remittance applications, transactions, etc. faster than other digital assets.

 

Vision

• Ripple provides financial institutions with remittance and payment solutions such as X-Rapid, Access Current, and Axvia. A number of global financial institutions and top-tier domestic banks are currently clients of Ripple. In the future, Ripple is expected to grow rapidly in the payment market by putting financial systems such as banks, payment service companies, and digital asset exchanges under the Ripple network ecosystem.
